Join neighbors and the West Side Creation Care Team for an autumn “litter pilgrimage.” We’ll gather at Miriam Ortiz-Rush Park at W. 75th Street and Madison Avenue at 10:00am.
We’ll greet one another, begin with a prayer, and then we will fan out onto Madison and Guthrie Avenues to pick up litter. Bags are provided; bring a trash grabber if you’d like.
Our purpose is to beautify our neighborhood and protect our Great Lake from plastic pollution, because trash eventually goes down into the street drains. We will also recycle cans and bottles.
We’ll conclude at 11:30am (but feel free to finish early if you need to). Thank you!
