Election Day is done. But the work of seeking the common good continues. We are learning a framework for living in this world but not of this world, identifying not as Americans, but as citizens of the kingdom of Jesus. We want to rest in his grace, and through that inner peace apply his politics of peace and of justice for the orphan, the widow, and the immigrant in our own lives. This class is helping us learn how to seek the kingdom of God “on earth as in heaven” (Matthew 6:10).
On November 9 at 7:30am we will continue our study of “God’s Good News About Politics” (Intervarsity). Copies will be provided of our worksheet for Lesson Two: “Choosing Jesus as King”
We meet over breakfast or coffee at Frank’s Falafel House, 1823 W. 65th Street. Look for the large group of guys! 🙂
Blessings on you!
